Staff entitlements

There are some rules around breaks and other things that you are entitled to. There are also some things that come with the role.

You are entitled to the following

• 10-minute break on shifts ranging from 2-4 hours (typically taken after shift as finished as additional 10 minutes of pay added to shift.
• 40-minute breaks on shifts ranging from 4-6 hours (30 minutes unpaid lunch break, 10 minutes paid break)
• 50-minute breaks on shifts ranging from 6-10 hours (30 minutes unpaid lunch break, 20 minutes paid break)
• Sick days after 6 months of employment
• Accruing holiday pay
• Kiwisaver if you would like to take advantage of it
• SITE Credit of $26.50 accrued per month to use on friends and family at SITE (does not include merch or food & bev)
• Industry rate season passes at Cardrona, Treble Cone, Remarkables, Coronet Peak, and Mount Hutt
• Free use of SITE facilities while employed
